The PhD work is on SmartGrid/microgrid power quality, modelled in MATLAB/Simulink. It is the research side of the same problem DefiEnergySupply settles on-chain.

The underlying research covers blockchain integration with IoT smart meters for automated energy-data collection and settlement. The lab setup used three Wi-Fi smart meters, an EcoFlow hub, a solar panel, and a bridge service relaying meter data into the settlement architecture.
